Welcome to Children's Literature Book Reviews
Welcome to the Children’s Literature Book Review!
This wiki is built and maintained by Michigan State University students enrolled in Reading and Responding to Children's Literature (TE 348) taught by Todd Ide.
Within these pages you will find reviews and critical analysis of various works of Children's and Adolescent literature. Hopefully we'll help you decide what else to read beyond Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl (Todd's favorites).
You will find within this wiki reviews of picture books, graphic novels, and a wide variety of other genres and formats. This is the place for everyone from early to advanced readers, from the struggling student for new challenges by seeking to discover a new treasured series or novel.
Each review has a specific overview of the book with a plot summary, analysis of textual elements, artistic elements (if applicable), and a critical look at the themes, representations, etc.. Please feel free to visit often and add, or edit to this database.
Our goal is to make this a source of information for teachers, students, and all of us who love literature!
